For anyone who has been around the Lacey/Olympia area since the late ‘90’s, this shirt has a lot of meaning! Once upon a time there was a shirt going around from a store in Olympia that said “Lacey Sucks.” It obviously drew some controversy and push back from the “bedroom community” of Lacey. Now Lacey is the largest city in the county and recently was recognized as one of the top 100 best places to live in the US. The only other Washington city recognized on that list from Money Magazine was Redmond. So this lighthearted rebuttal will go down as one of my favorite shirts of all time!
